1. Who we are

Elara Furniture ("Elara," "we" or "us") runs this website and two furniture showrooms in Egypt. This policy explains what personal information the website collects, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

2. What we collect

2.1 When you book a private viewing

The booking form asks for:

  • the showroom, day and time you would like;
  • your name and your WhatsApp number;
  • if you choose, a note.

2.2 When you contact us

If you call us, message us on WhatsApp or email us, we receive what you send and the number or address you send it from.

2.3 Technical information

To protect the booking form from spam, the website keeps the IP address of each booking request in memory for about ten minutes and then discards it. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses, browser types and the pages requested, to keep the website secure and running.

The website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It does not set cookies, does not identify you and does not follow you across other websites. The website does not use advertising trackers.

3. How we use your information

  • To arrange and confirm your viewing, which our team does on WhatsApp.
  • To answer your questions about your request or your visit.
  • To protect the website and the booking form from spam and misuse.

We do not send you marketing without your consent, and we do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.

4. Who we share it with

  • Our email delivery provider (currently Resend), which passes booking requests to our team.
  • WhatsApp (Meta), when you choose to send your request or a message on WhatsApp. WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy apply to messages sent through it.
  • Our hosting provider, which runs the website.
  • Cloudflare, which delivers the website and provides its visitor statistics.
  • Authorities, when the law requires us to.

5. How long we keep it

The website does not store booking requests in a database: they reach our team by email and WhatsApp. We keep requests and messages only as long as we need them to arrange your viewing and answer your questions, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.

6. Links to other websites

The website links to Google Maps, Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp. Their own privacy policies apply when you use them.

7. Security

Information you send through the website travels over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and booking requests go to our team's mailbox. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your rights

Depending on the law that applies to you, including Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 151 of 2020), you can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct or delete it, or to stop using it. Contact us using the details below.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with a new date at the top.
